The color tour will take place on 

Friday, Oct. 20 through Sunday, Oct.22, 2006.

 Leaving Friday  to West Virginia.  We are scheduled to have a wine and cheese party at Daniel Vineyards in Crab Orchard.   Then  drive to the hotel to check in and then we will dine at the Char.

    On Saturday morning, we will depart for Cass, WV for a train ride up Bald Knob. Box lunches will be provided to eat on the train or one of the stops. We will tour the Cass Museum after the train ride and then drive back to the hotel and eat at the Pasquale Mira Italian Restaurant nearby. 

   On Sunday, we will head toward Covington, KY where we will shop/sightsee and dine in the Main Strasse (German) Village. At this point we are approximately 1 hour from Dayton. 

    Reservations should be made by the August meeting and the fee of $100 per person.  All menus must be turned in also.  Anyone wishing to take only the train ride on Saturday or take part in the Saturday and Sunday activities or just have dinner with the group in the Main Strasse Village on Sunday may do so. See the organizers for details and fees. The total cost will be determined by the number of people who sign up to go. The fee collected will cover all tours, the box lunch and dinner on Saturday, the wine/cheese party; all toll fees, and possibly even the evening dinner on Friday. The hotel rooms are booked at the Days Inn in Beckley WV at a cost of $59.25 per night. Anyone wishing to attend any or all parts of this tour are asked to contact Linda or Todd Shuman as soon as possible.

  The above information has been put together so that anyone who is interested , can review the above info to determine if they want to participate.  If you do, you need to contact either Linda or Todd (937) 339-4338 as soon as possible so that plans can be made.
