Corvette
Troy
Charities Inc. will present two 2011 Corvettes to two
lucky winners on November 13th, 2010.
Corvette
Troy
has now given away 42 new Corvettes and donated over $400,000 to
charity in 26 years. This will
be our 27th year in managing this successful event to benefit
the community.
This
is a moderately expensive but
“great odds” event in that a maximum of 500 tickets are sold for $250
each. This provides each
ticket holder two chances of winning a new Corvette.
Corvette Troy Charities, Inc. is an IRS approved 501 (c)(3) public
charitable organization.
All
proceeds are given to charity. Corvette
Troy
again presented $20,000 to the Spina Bifida Association of Greater
Dayton
in November 2009 which will be used to assist nearly 100 families in
purchasing specialized medical support and to enable children to attend an
all-accessible summer camp. An
additional $3,000 was presented to Miami Valley-area charity
organizations.
Each
ticket holder may bring a guest to the Benefit Drawing Party featuring a
live band and complimentary hors d’oeuvres and drinks.
The drawing begins as a “reverse order” drawing.
Ticket holders may view their ticket stubs before they are put in a
barrel, and the tickets are drawn out one-by-one until the last remaining
ticket wins the first car. The
499 non-winning tickets are then put back in the barrel, and then the
winner of the second car is drawn as an “instant winner”.
Other door prizes are presented throughout the evening.
We
always sell the 500 maximum tickets for the drawing but are always
interested in new ticket buyers joining this fun event to benefit the
community. Please contact me for any
additional information needed.
